Fragments of a Formerly Active Sex Life

Dissemination: Penetration (Insemination)
by Julian X  /  poetry  /  28 Aug 2007

Monsieur Derrida,

I have a complaint

(and please donít say itís a compliment):

when we make love,

it is you on top,

then me,

then you,

then me,

over and over,

in constant flux,

at your insistence

(and please donít say itís at my insistence;

although these instances of your insistence are persistent,

they meet only my resistance).

Although I understand

(and overstand then understand then overstand in repeated succession)

this signifies play

and keeps me from the margins,

you must understand

phallocentricism isnít so bad

when its margins are erogenous;

your bedplay deconstructs

my orgasm.
